Sewed the seeds a long time ago. Your talking what was said in the aftermath of the Scum FA Cup game. Very nasty/childish/vindictive/unnecessary.

Fair play he did achieve after that. But if you turn people against you........ The knives will always be out. After what was said he did well to survive for so long in our biggest loosing streak ever in the football league.

The biggest losing streak wasn't under King though. You're right about the knives always being out but I though it was harsh, I don't think a lot of people appreciate just how well we did in 2003/2004, that was an outstanding season with the resources we had (or lack of) and as far as I'm concerned it should've been a clean slate after that but i accept football doesn't work like that.

It's about Iffy's interview if we're being pedantic.

Which became a very good discussion about the differing interview techniques of current previous managers and will not become a very stale/boring/done to death discussion about the pro's and cons of Andy King.

Im not going to get into the in's and outs of the bad runs either. You know what I think of those.

King never apologised or ever accepted that he had contributed to the ill feeling between himself and a large proportion of our fans. He just concluded that he had never been accepted because he hadnt played for the club. So given Kings stance how could any line be drawn? I was in the majority in the middle ground who were quite prepared to stick with King if he was taking us places, whilst accepting that he could be a reactionary divisive overly emotional tosser given a bit of hot air and a microphone.

any manager who blames the fans really doesn't have a clue.

king was a disaster for this club in terms of image and public relations, i can't see how anyone can argue with that.

Just out of interest, that Cheltenham game was my first Town game for about 6 or 7 years (Uddersfield away with McMahon playing 8 across the back and me sitting next to Chris Hay's dad when our fickle fans were giving the kid a hard time being the previous game I attended). Surprisingly enough, it was my last too !

King's interviews would have been amusing were he from another club.As a Town fan,I found them a fucking embarrassment.

It's a pretty short interview, I'm not really a fan of Iffy's interviews, standard manager cliche's really, at least they're better than Jimmy Quinn's. :  :boring:

At least they are better than Andy King's, more like.
His were terrible and he lowered the confidence of each and every Town player.
