Ive just set up the online gaming on my playstation and have spent the afternoon beating other people across the country - and its fucking great!!! Anyone here got it set up and wanting a beating?

A couple of questions though (for anyone who might know the answers):

1) Can you save replays on your goals with this network gaming?
2) Can playstation online users play people who play online with the PC version?Huh?

If I knew if I could play my PS2 online through the uni network, I'd give you a game.

I dunno how different it is to my old ps2, but my network adaptor thing came with a network setup disk - so you can configure it all and run the checks and stuff so you might need to get hold of one of them.

Other than that, all you need is an ethernet cable, stick it in the back of your modem and ps2 and your off!

I heard people saying how it was rubbish and there is lag - they are liars. It is the best thing of all time! Its just like playing a mate at home - and also it tells you before you start if there is likely to be any lag with the people in the list waiting to play. So you just pick the ones that are compatible to you and get going.

It keeps all your stats as well, and has leagues to progress up. Im still an "amature" and played 10, won 5, lost 4, drew 1.

When i play online and host the game, the first half seems to run fine, then the second half seems to have a bit of lag. Do they swap round the hosting at half time to make it fair? It proper fucks me off.

Nope, as soon as you host it stays on your server. Sometimes the other person might have msn messenger on which makes the game lag.

Ah right. Its only on some people and it only happens after half time. What league are you in?
