Isn't the Gooch the bit between the balls and the ring-piece?

Yeah, it fucking hurts when you underestimate the height of a railing, slip down and make full contact with it on the Gooch...

Apparently.

We also have lots of signs to Clitheroe.. which make you chuckle once someone points out what is says if you break the name in half...

I think Clitheroe was part of of the Scunthorpe problem, along with Penistone and Lightwater. Internet filters went mad.

I understand the bit you refer to and it's equivelent female version to the the Taint. Taint you ball, taint yer arse. Likewise taint the flange and taint the arse.

One of County Kerry's most famous gaelic footballers of recent years was nicknamed 'The Gooch'.

Fact!

How fucking beautiful a backdrop this is - to be sure

Pleased to find a painting in the Bath Road art gallery this afternoon, a fine piece " the Back of Gooch Street"  Here it is fellow art fans...

Fella called Ronald Thexton.

There's also a bit of a special display until Jan of paintings by a Royal Academician....Craigie Aitchison, I think they're a bit shit, but will have another look, just to see if there's something I'm missing.

I thought that was called the perineum. Anyway, if only Gooch had thrown his sandwich somewhere else maybe Swindon would have remained a quaint market town atop a hill. Rather than be ruined by the invasion of the railway & all the related problems.
