...for about an hour in OT from 4-5.  Southern Electric reckoned much of Swindon affected. Dug out all my candle supply and camping gas gear when it came back on  Smiley

Was just about to leave the office when it came back on. Quite lucky really as someone turned up last minute to sign a tax return.

 It does remind you just how much we're dependent on electricity....I had to go to the dentists, alarms going off everywhere and people wandering around aimlessly in a post apocalyptic daze. Dentists completely screwed, I said couldn't he just get me to open my gob near a window and take a look, but apprently not.

Could have done dentistry 'Beano style'  by tying string round the tooth and the door handle - not much help for a filling though.
