With apologies to you who hate the game

Was a nice suprise yesterday to get a nice prezzy from the family....unlimited golf passport at Broome Manor.(50th Birthday)
Now i found out that for £50 per month you get unlimited golf there and at Highworth for a year.
Now seeing the family are paying and not me i dont want to waste there money or my time as i havn't yet started the membership so has anyone else got one?
Asked around today and maybe a few issues with booking at weekends but not a lot else seems to be a problem......
Seems to be very good value...if you like golf that is so if anyone has had one before any feedback would be appreciated.

hello mate....happy bday-great present that.....I've had one on and off for a number of years now and it is good value if you're playing at least once a week...I don't bother playing in the winter so cancelled mine in November(which you can do only if you've had it for more than 12 months) to save some dollar but hopefully will start up again around April...tee times can be booked online/phone/in person a week in advance and yeah weekends are busy during April-October due to competitions....if you were looking to get a handicap and become a member of the golf club, its roughly another £100...that passport is great in summer if you tee off at 7pm as you can usually get 13 holes in which brings you back to the clubhouse by 9.30pm-ish....unless you 'zorro' your way around the course by which time you're playing in the dark :-)

Cheers Jim,yep i am thinking of the membership as well though i might stick to Highworth(£50)which gets you a card and they have some easier comps etc.
