Contradiction.
Came unstuck trying to fish in 2 different ways in the same post. Honestly think he will make his way back to STFC one day.

it'd be a shame if his career was curtailed because of this, I presume a lot of the potential transfer moneys were tied up in performance clauses?

Gutted with this - had a decent wedge on him being top scorer this season. Lambert getting a hattrick on the same day rubbed salt in the wound.

I hold no grudge against him, would clap him if he played against us.

Austin was a cunt the way he left us. That said, his dad is a cunt - and he advises his son, so it isn't really a surprise that he was such a cunt.
Sort of saying I can forgive him being a cunt due to the advice he gets and his upbringing.
Never had any doubt about his ability, and his was a true fairy story that could been spun better - with someone with half a brain advising him.
I wish him well with his recovery.

Best finisher I've seen at Swindon. I think he left more to do with events off the pitch than on it if I'm honest. Came unstuck trying to fish in 2 different ways in the same post.
Honestly think he will make his way back to STFC one day. Why do you say that Spence?

Not good, but Barry Corr looked to be in the same position and came back for Southend.
Out again now though. Missed the start of the season with a knee injury , and now hes had an operation that will keep him out most of the rest of the season.

Yes that's true. But the point is its not his shoulder this time. I thought he was finished when his shoulder popped the last time, but he wasn't. Hopefully the same is true of Austin.

Wish him well. Very few sports careers are ended by injuries to the main shoulder socket (I know this is different injury) as the operation is very succesful and can strengthen the joint. This is a common rugby injury and most come back to a game where shoulder collision is frequent. Wouldn't be surprised if Spence is right reference seeing him back in the distant future.
