Has anyone eaten at the Taj Mahal restaurant in West Swindon? Keep meaning to give that a go.

Ive had a couple of meals in there and a few take outs - My fave Swindon curry by far. Having said that ive not been there sinse moving as its a bit out of the way and you know how quick places can go down hill!

Finally got round to ordering a takeaway from there. Had an enjoyable lamb rogan josh which is something I don't normally have. Tempted to try my usual bhuna or madras in the next week to see how it fares.

I like Just Eat. I noticed there's an Italian delivery now (hurrah!) - San Marco. However, something about the fact that that restaurant has changed names quite a few times though, leads me to believe the food is probably pretty ropey. Someone tell me otherwise please.

My mate used to say the same and would never even entertain the idea of eating a curry anywhere else. BUT, then when the restaurant ratings came out (i'm not sure who does it) they were awarded 0 stars for health and hygiene and food standard.

Never been back since.

This is a good place for Indian, but then i came across Curry Cottage also in Rodbourne which i would strongly recommend.

I also like going to Biplobs in Old town, but i havent been there for a while so not sure if it's still the same.

For chinese i like Zen in Gorse hill, looks like a shite-hole but surprisingly good food
