http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Curtis

Born to shockingly poor parents, spending time in an orphanage...and losing his beloved brother who was killed by a truck.
Went on to become a true legend and no doubt milked his riches after his poor boyhood........died last night.

'When Curtis was eight, he and his younger brother Julius were placed in an orphanage for a month because their parents could not afford to feed them' that's terrible

Did plenty of great films... Sweet Smell of Success, Defiant Ones, Some Like it Hot, Spartcus.

Another gone... Yet Kirk D remains!

How the fuck is Tony Curtis's life sad? He had a tough start, overcame it, went on to become very successful, rich, shagged loads of birds (Including Marilyn Monroe) and died at the age of 85.

That's not a sad story, that's awesome!

RIP Tony.

Aaaahhhh...thaks for that...I was desperately trying to remember what the programme was which he appeared in with Roger Moore.  Brilliant....comedy thriller as it should be.
