Please don't mention it... I am still not quite over Withdean 04.

I can cope with Brighton a lot better post-Leon Knight though. Jesus I hated that midget. Is it true he hasn't scored a goal for two years or something?

Sorry mate.

Yep, he wasn't very popular here either. That's right, he went to Greece until they sacked him. So he had a go in Scotland, but TWO of their clubs deemed him unsuitable. He recently appeared on our North Stand Chat forum (it was deffinitely him, it was all verified), answering questions about his time here and certain incidents! Bizarre turn of events.

Why's that embarrassing? You never do because of pride and most teams are out of a hat, so surely it shouldn't be any different?

If we meet in the play-offs I know, for an absolute fact, that if your fans act with the lack of class they showed last time, I will level Brighton with all the explosives I can muster. Cheesy My occasional friendly dislike of you would descend into unadulterated murder. I think many of our fans will always hate you a bit for that.

We started last season at home to Walsall (they didn't have a shot on goal ALL game, and beat us 1-0.. work that one out), because Pride was a week later than usual. But they've confirmed that the event will be the same day as the football league opening day next season. There's an "understanding" with the FA though, that clubs with new grounds start at home. Note Chesterfield today. But we can't start at home with Pride, because there won't be enough police there.

Could you atleast not murder ME? The rest, they're fair game.
If it had been the other way around, I would always hate you too. I was there that night, it is the 2nd greatest night I've had at the Withdean. And now I'm getting all nostalgic... beating Cheaterfield 1-0 to win the old Division 3.. beating Man City on penalties... getting waterlogged SKIN it was so wet one friday night when we lost 4-3 to Rochdale... when a HOLE opened up in the pitch against Hartlepool, and we had to fill it with sand, delaying the game about 10 minutes...

Interesting - glad he got his comeuppance to be frank. Very few players have irritated me as much as that cocky little turd did. You'd have thought he was Maradona and Pele rolled into one the way he carried on.

See you for the 2-1 town win for our final trip to the Withdean  Cool

My regards to Robert Codner and John Crumplin.

I see. Didn't know about the agreement with the FA, shame you've got a clash. Not that I care, so it's not a shame, but pretending is almost as good.

Very few players will ever be as unpopular with his own supporters, despite scoring 25 goals that season! Amazing really.

Will do mate, all the best until then. If I ever come across either of those legends (Crumplin more likely than Codner, I think, though my dad would have to point them out to me!), I'll pass that on.

I'm off to bed, so I'll bid all you chaps a good night.

I'm not sure if it's a hard and fast rule, but our chairman, mr Bloom, said that we would have asked, and been granted, a home game on the opening day if it wasn't for Pride. They're not run by a Brighton-based company, so there's no chance of them moving it, which is a shame but there's nothing we can do. I wouldn't want any team coming here that day anyway... I don't think the opposing fans would ever quite get over seeing the Royal Pavilion decked out in pink.

Maybe you'll end up with a Monday night TV game.
