On wood street is a fucking awful place to go for a curry. Not good, especially when its quiet. Staff are rude, and hair in the rice.

Should've stuck to the curry garden like we always do.

Nah we didn't stayed but were very quick to leave. Awful awful experience.

Very unusual to see Chinese people working in a curry house aswell (Not in a racist way).

I've been to the Biplob a couple of times (not for a couple of years) and thought it OK so would probably have gone again. So thanks Sippo.

I know but we fancied a change. Somewhere different. Back to there I think from now on.

Lesson of the day: Never stray from the path!

I remember when the Bip used to sponsor the Man of the Match award in the 80's-winner got a free curry!

i used to think it the best place alongside picklejohns but the last time i went there was in september. my dansak appeared to have more sugar in it than spice and when we suggested this they brought out some chopped chilli's to add to our sugary stuff

on the plus side they gave me a mug to celebrate my birthday and the horrendous food i had

Not a curry house but we eat in the Kembrey Inn last night.  Booked a table for 8 pm (there were 8 of us), nobody wanted to take a drinks order so went to the bar and got them anyway, they took the starters order at 8-20 pm, these arrived quite promptly, mains didn't arrive until 9-45 pm!!  Totally crap service, although the food was good when it arrived.  After complaining loudly several times about the quality of their service manager offered us a £25 refund off the bill!!  We left at 10-20 pm having decided not to wait for desserts.  With two children in tow it was a frustrating night as they got a bit stressed at times!  As I say food was good, service totally crap!!  Oh, and no tip left!
