In that case if you do a forced update, you'll get the new EPG.

Ooooo how do I do a forced update? is that in the hidden menu under services where the sytem set up is?

Are Sky rolling out the new EPG by make and model of the box rather than geographically then?

switch the power off at plug
hold backup
whilst holding back up switch the power back on at the plug
keep holding back up till all the lights flash and you get a black screen saying update in progress

Cool cheers, I will give that a go, will it affect the programs currently saved on the disk? does it in effect do a system full reset and format?

No, just updates the EPG. No planner data is lost.
