Butternut squash is really versatile.
You can use it in soups, roast it with the skin on (it becomes nice and soft).
I put it in Thai red curries, works a treat.
I have only ever cooked with marrow once, I made a ratatouille with it (only because they had no Aubergine in the shop) and it turned out great. But, I prefer courgette to marrow, so don't think i'd bother with it again.
I had a tasty Bulgarian moussaka at the weekend, which contained spud and courgette, rather than aubergine which you get with Greek moussaka...think I might stuff a marrow tomorrow. |

Broad beans are the worst. Bloody 'orrible. Sprouts are great & Marrow is as has been said best stuffed with mince
Broad beans are delicious. They are are also the gift that keeps on giving. There must be a cubic foot of methane per average sized bean. |
