So the biggest game of the county season is upon us saturday at Lords and I imagine the majority of you dont give a fuck. However, I will be in the upper compton stand with my dad to cheer on Sussex to yet another trophy just to get up the fucking nose of atherton hussain and co. who still dont recgonise the best county team of the last 10 years.

In other news Sid the Shark the sussex mascot has been banned from lords because of there strict no fancy dress policy. The argus has gone a nd printed thousands of sid the shark masks and will be giving them out on sat morning at brighton and hove train stations Smiley

Lets hope for a bit of sunshine and a good game...I'll lean towards Hampshire, on the basis that I used to watch them when I lived on the South Coast in the 70's and used to practise in the indoor nets at the old Soton ground.

Come on Hampshire. On the basis that I used to live there.

Mind you, despite living about 5 mins walk from the Bounty, I never actually watch them play there (even though they did on occasion before going to the Rose bowl).

When I watched them, they had Gordon Greenidge, Barry Richards and Andy Roberts. Then a sprinkling of typical county trundlers and gnarled veterans like Peter Sainsbury.

Looks like Prior is playing yes.

Sussex side should be

Ed Joyce
Chris Nash
Luke Wright
Murray Goodwin
Mat Prior
Dwayne Smith
Mike Yardy
Rory Hamilton-Brown
Yasir Arafat
Robin Martin-Jenkins
James Kirtley

pretty strong batting line up that with batting down to 10. Hopefully Pothas is still injured for Hampshire.
