Well, he got 5 minutes tonight, which seemed a bit pointless to me. He wasn't going to do anything too impressive in that space of time so if he's not fit enough to play why bother?

Well, he got 5 minutes tonight, which seemed a bit pointless to me. He wasn't going to do anything too impressive in that space of time so if he's not fit enough to play why bother?

I think it was more of a case of just facing "live action" as opposed to training as part of his rehabilitation really. Wasn't a tactical change from where I stand. Only way you get fully fit is by playing matches and getting some first team action so he was being eased in thats all. Not pointless at all.
