I remember the Bournemouth game very well; Easter saturday 87.They were top and we were
in 2nd place. With the draw in this game and also the Easter Monday game at Brentford, we had
to settle for a play off place.Keeping Bristol City out of the play off's was nice  Grin

Charlie Henry the supersub against the Gills and Chalkie our hero in the replay at Selhurst.

Amazing to think that Harry Redknapp was the Bournemouth manager back in 87.

That Henry goal is different class.

It was indeed, but it wasn't actually the best goal of the game.
Not that I thought so at the time, but the pikey's goal (by howard the Duck if I remember) was even better  Eek

Karl Elsey, I think. A bloody good volley for a squirrel eating, lace selling pikey.
