This is the water. And this is the well. Drink full and descend. The horse is the white of the eyes and dark within.

Definitely quitting now.
Just woke up coughing/throwing up blood!!!!!. A bit fucking scary that, so I check it out and find it's quite normal for those quitting.
Man I must have really been doing some damage to my body.

It's very normal to feel a bit shitty for a while after giving up. Expect lots of spots, coldsores and mouth ulcers as well.

Does it help being hoeld up in your flat too scared to nip to the local newsagents for some ciggies in case you get shot or run over by a tank?

I'm on my 15th day without a cigarette. I've enjoyed it. Infact I might restart smoking just so I can give up again.

I tried patches, but gave up on that when I found myself taking the patch off, haveing a ciggy & putting the patch back on again. I finally quit 2 yrs & 11 months ago, using Nicotine gum, but am still addictted to the gum. Having said that the gum is way cheaper than 40 a day, & it's better for my health. I'm now thinking about giving up on the gum, by using patches, but haven't made THE decision yet. (Much the same as I had to make a decision to quit the fags). If I had to give one piece of advice it would be to treat cigarettes like an alcoholic has to treat a drink. Don't even have one.

Ouch....
5 weeks (without a single fag) and now my lungs feel as though somebody has taken to the inside of them with a brillo pad, it really is quite painful. When will this shit stop, I felt better when I was smoking.
Anyway, I do have Miss Tiffany's universe to watch to distract me from my anguish. It's just like Miss universe, only with lady-boys instead of real women, fuck me some of these blokes are shagadelic.

A thousand Benson and Hedges was enough to kill a good friend of mine...they were being off loaded at Southampton docks ware he worked when the box of a thousand landed on his head knocking him into the water....he couldnt swim and sadly drowned....seriously though fair play to all of you quitting.
