Because a lot of our fringe players are tried and trusted wankers - pretty much like our first team players. Why not give youth a chance? Even if they're shit at least they'll try unlike most of the useless so called experienced fuckers and they're cheaper. I'd rather try 10 and find one diamond than continually playing either washed up cunts or someone elses reject cunts that will never be.

Depends on your conviction. We know our fringe players are complete and utter dross - Malpas signed some real shit. We've got more to gain than to lose. If we can establish oursleves as a team that gives youth a chance then they'll get the benefit of the doubt and we can flog ordinary players for more dosh a la Crewe.
