Hello there everyone.

With a new ipod under the xmas tree, i think it is high time that i shrug off limewire and get knee deep in torrent downloads.

Firstly how does the actual system of torrents differ to that of Limewiresque P2P?

Also does anyone have any recommendations on which programme to download? i'm looking to be getting my mits on all manner of whole albums.

Thankyou indeed.

Download utorrent.

Then visit sites such as mininova, and the world is your oyster.

I use Bitlord!

Then google torrents for the numerous sites.

Bitlord here as well.

You may have to open or forward ports on the old router if your download speeds are slugish although they normally start off fairly poor and build up once you have downloaded part of the file.

What you after music vids, album's,films,or both ?

I would use utorrent it's lightweight compared to the other client's,So it wont take a lot of your cpu up when your downloading. If your after music albums or music vids, maybe rapidshare forums is a better option,it really depends on what your after.

Utorrent is the fastest most reliable I have used and to find them I often use Pirate Bay http://thepiratebay.org/
