Men against bhoys I am afraid.

A Celtic fan who was watching just said it as it was, Celtic just aren't good enough to compete against teams like Man U, playing in Scotland you just don't get the talent of players of Rooney, Ronaldo etc obviously.

You didn't need to be a fan of either club to notice that. Celtic appear to be going downhill because they looked no better than a plucky lower mid table Prem team last night and their performance was no different to those that I've seen them play in the SPL this season.

Their situation is obviosuly nowhere near bad enough to stop competing for the SPL but you know what I mean.

If you have ever spoken to more than a dozen Old Firm fans you'll know they are the most blinkered set of supporters around. Not long ago the same person was convinced they were signing Ronaldo on loan after the Rooney/Ronaldo 'fall out' and he also genuinely expected Michael Owen to sign for them!

I disagree. He maybe in the shower of shit also known as Newcastle United but he's still got himself 5 goals in 8 games this season and has also got a good goals per game ratio at Newcastle generally.

His fitness is the only major issue.

During Gordon Strachan's post-match interview you could hear United fans singing Big Jock Knew.

Good song that.

No it's not Michael, it's a fuckin stupid song.  I draw the line at singing songs about a dead bloke knowing about child abuse going on and ignoring it.

Still it's the cunts that sing it that back up the general view that rangers fans are indeed Scotland's shame.  Utd fans should know better.
