I think I heard on the radio it is Perry McCarthy, former Stig rather than current Stig(s). Not that it matters. It's a bloody good cause and sounds pretty interesting.

A unique opportunity to see and hear the tales from the prolific Perry McCarthy, Perry has been involved in Motorsport for over 22 years; he is well known within the motorsport industry and is close friends with the likes of Damon Hill, Johnny Herbert, Mark Blundell and Bernie Ecclestone. Perry shot to further fame when he was un-masked as THE STIG in BBC’s Top Gear programme.
The evening includes a quality 3-course meal, raffle, auction and real life tales from the man who has been described as “a comedian trapped inside a racing drivers body”.

Annoyingly it seems that a bloody load of people do know who the Stig is but they're not saying. The entire panel on last weeks "Fighting Talk" on 5Live seemed to know but were doing that media whore in-joke thing. Bastards. |
