Is the password ( I assume you mean security PIN) on the phone, or the SIM card? I assume the phone otherwise you'd just whack a different SIM in?!

default password is : 00000000

If you ghave changed it, best google match  is as follows  (this is a full reset. I don't know if it'll kill the messages).

Try switching phone off > remove Sim Card > Power Phone back on > Type in *2767*2878#

his should now reset your codes to 00000000 again.

Yeah, I meant the security pin.
When you turn the phone off, take the sim out and turn it back on it just says insert sim.

Can't you enter it wrong 5 times, get to the screen where it asks for a PUK code and then phone up your network for one?

No, because it's a securtiy code for messages etc, and not a pin code to get onto the phone itself.

If there is an option to master reset you could try that. Will wipe everything though.
