Mate of mine was telling me yesterday about Brunel re-opening in a months time as Liquid & Envy nightclub. Liquid is the top floor club and has Westwood there on the opening night and Envy is an over 23's bar on the middle floor. Pictures, information etc available at http://www.liquidclubs.com/swindon/Haven't been Brunel as much in recent years but will probably get along to this new place at some point just to see if it gives us all a good alternative place to finish a night out

I prefer pubs to bars and clubs. The chances of seeing me in there are very slim.

For those clubbers out there sure it'll be great if its run properly though. Swindon needs a decent club.

Heard about this a while ago, it's a shame, Brunel was a bit crap but they had some decent nights occasionally. Liquid is shit, it's just cheese and was one of the worst clubs in Cardiff. Envy is the same type of thing but sometimes it's over 25's only.

I for one can't wait, getting bored with all the stuff down the bottom of town, and at least with a Liquid you know what you're getting when you're in the mood for that sort of thing.
Always have a good a laugh in Liquid/Envy in Portsmouth when we're down that way so bring it on.

I've been to Liquid / Envy in norwich a few times - it's shit and scabby.
When will someone open a club that doesn't play cheese or shitey rnb.

Brunel was fun in the 70's, was more or less downhill after that.
