I haven't a clue so hope some of you can help.

My little brother is at Uni in Manchester but is coming back for 3 weeks over Easter but in the summer wants to go down to Devon/Cornwall to work until he goes back in the Autumn.  Does anyone know any websites or info where students can get accommodation etc. just for summer and work etc. to get a bit of cash?

Also, does anyone know anywhere where he could get three weeks casual work over Easter in Swindon as its hard with agencies as they won't take on short term.... etc.?

Sorry about the generalisation of this but just trying to help him out in case anyone knows or can give him few weeks work

what degrees he doing for a start?

Does he want an internship relating to this or purely casual work down there?

The accomodation he will almost certainly have to sort himself for that period I'd have thought

Like Lash said, it depends on what he's looking for, something career specific or just a casual/piss up job in Cornwall for the summer?

Is he at Uni of Manc/Man Met/Salford? I'm sure there would be a careers service for him there to talk to - there is at the first 2 i know specifically.

Without knowing what he's looking for its pretty hard not to be general

Get his CV into agencies asap. There is temp work but you have to get in early and nag them every day

Thanks for the link.  Hes doing something Environmental/Geography based I think but looking for something more casual/laugh in the summer whilst earning a bit of cash on the side.

Hes at Salford Uni so Ill ask him.  reason I asked is that their internet has messed up this week and still trying to sort it so he can't get on enough to start looking.
