Yes to Q 1 It's huge holds about 85000, its also very close to central dublin, more pubs than you could ever visit, take plenty of euros as I was there 3 weeks ago and in some places its the equivalent of £5 a pint

It is indeed huge, but in a concrete, functional take that sort of way.  The Millennium it is not.  Worse, as an away fan you'll be in temporary seating on the open Hill 16, miles from the pitch.  Hopefully there'll be more Germans there than the piss poor turn out in Cardiff, otherwise the atmosphere could be a bit flat.

To understand Hill 16 and a million other things about the place, a visit to the GAA Museum at the ground is an absolute must.

It's 20ish minutes walk from the centre of Dublin, with numerous stopping options en route.  I've never had to pay anywhere near £5 a pint, and as for nightlife, take your pick.

I'm out tomorrow with a couple of lads who went to Croke Park earlier this year.  Proper drinkers, too...I'll have an ask and let you know.

was sonic's post really that hard to understand?

he was suggesting that you had been provided with a lot of information following your request for it and had then neglected to say thank you.
