Noubissie to Hibs

Hibs boss John Collins could be about to make a swoop for his 8th summer signing in the next few days.

French midfielder Patrick Noubissie is currently one of a few trialists training with the first team squad, after he impressed Collins while playing as a trialist for Livingston on Saturday against Dundee. Collins was down checking on Dundee youngsters Kevin McDonald and Paul Dixon.

Noubissie can play in the centre of defence as well as in the centre of midfield.

The 24 year old has had spells at French club Sedan as well as time in England with Swindon Town and Crewe.

According to the report, Sturrock was keen to sign him, surely he'd be more likely to tip off Craig Levein at Dundee United than Spongebob Square head at the cabbage?
