Do they still have all the security restrictions on flights?

No its seem ok now, you can park outside the terminal and unload as long as you are quick, police come over but no hassle.
Normal procedures inside - if you get there on time!!!!!!! Oops

this is not a dig at your time keeping at all in the slightest but i hate being late, when i have a flight i give myself pleanty of time even it it means i sat at the air port for 2 hours more than i should be then so be it, i allways dread there to be that accident on the M4 and i'd be fucked.
but harsh deals its never nice.

I've gotta fly from Gatwick in August - flight leaves at 9.30 am and I'm getting a national express to arrive at 6.20am, hoping it'll be enough of a buffer cos the return flight cost over a grand.

missed one to australia once; was going for work so they had to buy me another on flight a couple of days later at extorsionate price, but then when i was out there found the existing return part of the first ticket was no longer valid, so had to get another return too.   lets just say i wasn't too popular... but then i did say 'don't book a 6am departure, i might not be awake' !

also missed one in australia as i turned up to the airport 2 hours early,  so had a bit of a kip in the international departures lounge - which might not have been a problem when I woke up 4 hours later if one of the qantas staff had woken me up earlier, although I would also have had to have been in the domestic terminal in the first place, since that was actually where my flight was leaving from.

Well on my way in 10 minutes, this time I'm giving myself just under 5 hours to book-in for the flight.

Slightly different subject but I hate those pricks on ITV's "Airport" that moan and moan at the easyjet staff because they've missed check in by 10 minutes, as they have to be in Barcelona for the world's most important meeting.

Look fella if you're going to the world's most important why the fuck are you flying with easyjet.

Fuck off.
