Just reading the Advertiser and he gets a slating!

I thought he was very good and I didn't see anyone leaving early (though I was on the other side from the door). The place was packed and everyone around about me was enjoying it, despite Paolo's obvious drunkeness. I know some people (my girlfriend included) couldn't really understand him, but being half-Scottish I had no trouble so it was probably more his accent than his drunkeness.

In summary: It was very good and his final encore (Funky Cigarette) was fantastic.

Almost as good as McFly on Friday.

eh?

I read your reply BEFORE posting that.

The only conclustion is that Poalo Nutini is a ghost..

He was obviously battered when he first came on stage, but sang alright, and I've never heard him speak before so don't know how much he was drawling etc. My ladyfriend didn't understand when he spoke, but then I did, so perhaps it was his accent (or I'm just used to being around pissheads).

Cracking end to the show though, the encores were great. Jungle Book's 'I Wanna be like You' and a song advocating the use of drugs to the 10 year olds in the audience... Spot on.

CAPITAL >> bold

what I meant was that I had read your response on this thread ('Nice bumping etc') and then posted the picture of the Nut stuggling to remain upright. However the vagaries of the Nutini Ghost Phenomenon are such that my post is BEFORE yours in the thread.

Here's an action sequence to help you:

Tim posts pictures to bump thread >>  Yeovil Red sees pictures and appriciates quality and effort used  >>  Tim sees this and posts another picture of a not-so-sure-footed Nutini  >> this picture goes onto the TownEndForum above Yeovil Red's response  >> Tim =  :?  Cool   >> Yeovil Red =  :?  :?  Oops  Crying
