okay so thanks to everyone who helped last time with me getting my music off my ipod and back onto my PC. worked perfectly, only problem now is getting my ipod to update with the new songs i have on i-tunes. I-Tunes reads 'myname's ipod' when i plug it in but it won't update even after i click 'sync songs'

any ideas?

Got the latest update of iTunes?

restored to factory settings and luckily enough its all okay now. bit risky, if it didnt id have been left with no music on my ipod.
