Has put his name into the ring for the England job.Don't think there is going to be a position vacant though,i think rightly or wrongly the ECB will stick it out with Fletcher.
Still interesting to see there is another bloke out there who would be prepared to take the job, seeing as to my mind there isn't really a lot of choice. in international cricket at the moment.

I personally dont think Fletcher should go .. as long as we do well in the summer - it was a scheduling problem that we lost so bad in Oz .. blame the ECB for agreeing to it!

I think they should move heaven and earth to get Tom Moody before the Aussies do - not because Fletcher needs to go now, but because he will within the next 2 years or so, and if we wait that long then Moody will have replaced Buchanan.

yeah we could have done with one more first-class game before the first test, but that does not equate to the serious lack of mental strength shown by this england side through this tour

he'll be bracewell's replacement for the kiwis by the looks of it

there is not a man in england who knows less about cricket than beefy botham. great player? undoubtedly. the brain of a small ant? undoubtedly

Moody's the most overrated coach in the world.

He inherited a top quality county side at Worcester, in the first division in first class and one dayers. And when he left? They were in the second division for both.

Sri Lanka's impressive form over the last year is much more down to Jayawardene than Moody as shown by their performances prior under the Attapattu-Moody partnership.

Anyway he's a cert to get the Aus job and that's the best (and easiest) coaching job in the world.

I'd love Woolmer his track record with Warwickshire, South Africa and Pakistan is phenomenal. If not, Peter Moores.

Moody has ruled himself out of the running for the Aussie job.
