I'm gonna send them a letter!
I feel completely drained after all that, not used to actually having to do stuff which may involve a stressful situation. Yawn. Think I'm working this evening as well. Might have to get some kip. Do it, but in a death threat cut-out-of-newspapers-words kind of way. A lot of effort but probably fun. Oh, and don't put a stamp on it so they have to pay the postage, and put it in a massive envelope!

Would that go in a postbox tho?
You could get Spuddy, Leggett or Ralphy to post it perhaps.

You could break the brick into smaller chunks and they could have the enjoyment of broken brick puzzle at the other end. Make sure you keep a piece back though.

I hate banks also. I deposited £4k today. Cashier said 'do you have any plans for the money?'. I though what a fucking cheek, but politely replied 'Deposit for a house'. Cue the sales pitch, 'have you spoken to one of our mortgage advisers?'. I reply yes and that I've gone with another lender anyway. 'But we can get you 3.99%' she said. I reply my IFA is whole of market and got me the best deal there is. Plus their 3.99% only applies to mega-rich people with a minimum of a 35% deposit and I've only got 5%. 'Oh' she said. End of conversation. Sam: 1 Halifax: 0

once its in the hands of the debt agency there is nothing your branch can do, there will be a flag on your account so its totally pointless dealing with them, even when you bring your account back into line.
the debt agaency have probably made you promise to pay £40 a month for 6 months? then the will loan you the money and you will have to keep paying £40 a month...... if you miss payments with the debt agency your proper fucked, stongly advise you keep payments up
