Cureton would have left at the end of that season regardless.
The fact that he didn't score before going out on loan and then scored however many when he came back proves DV is wrong imo.
Anyway, he was a better player than Cox.

I dont think i agree about him being better than Cox, however be interesting to see Cox in the championship to compare...

I loathed Cureton before he joined... He was poor when he started and by the time any quality was shown it was way too late for us.
It was a shit season and I'd rather forget it.

Barnsley probably not the best place to go then....when the Macedonian Georgi Hristov briefly played for them in their Prem days, he had this to say about Barnsley lasses.. "The local girls are far uglier than the ones back in Skopje. Our women are much prettier. Besides, they don't drink as much beer as the Barnsley girls which is something I don't like at all". |
