I refer you again to this post:

It is indeed pivotal .. I for one will be calling for the boards head at all occasions if a top class manager isnt brought in . I sat back before when the cheap options were taken and im not doing it again .

If we can't afford 'know how' then how on earth are we going to afford 'top class'? The two aren't mutually exclusive, they go hand in hand.

You're just making excuses because you know you're not going to bother coming back next season.

this stuff about we cant afford certain names

could be a little of because we did offer wise more on his curent deal which isnt half bad so in theory we could offer this to another head

I guess the the "improved deal" we offered probably amounted to an extra £20 a month with some of the clauses removed so we could get more compensation if someone really wanted Wise and Poyet.

Isn't Shaun Taylor at Forrest Green?

Probably be okay as a coach, guess he did okay at City, but no chance as manager.

Lets not forget the one big problem - Devlin, the only guy who knows anything about football (by everyones admission on the Board) is currently on long term sick leave with every likelihood of not returning as they have no confidence in him.

Who the fuck is going to be in charge of the recruitment process?

Guys it will  be the cheap option.

The £700k saved in wages and compo will go on the overspend- the overspend that goes directly into Dunwoody sports
