here is my opinion.

i have been a swindon fan for 30 years, i travel home and away and have a season ticket, i participate in fundraising functions and vip days as often as possible.

i also run my own successful business, which has expanded year on year.

if i was to hold my customers due to critiscm  to ransom with monetary threats i would no longer be in business.
i would be laughed out of my industry.

we have been held to ransom today by a man who seems to be out of touch with me and the people i go to football with every week. yes we appreciate the money put into the club by the wills family, but as far as im concerned surely that was an investment? a business investment. do we have to continually doth our caps to the wills in gratitude? the way that statement read was almost like a fucking lord and serf relationship.

why threaten us? due to critiscm and the fact that we want the best for a club that not only we love but pour hours and hours of our time and pounds and pounds of our hard earned money. well excuse me but i actually fucking give a shit about the shambles that is unfurling in front of me everyday.

if you dont like the critiscm then leave, i would rather go bust with people who are passionate about our club than be held to ransom on someones whim.

how dare you threaten an institution thats has been integral to this town for over 100 years. who the fuck do you think you are?

i urge supporters to join the trust, we need to be one voice in these shite times, more so than ever. i urge the wills to think about the fact that not all of us will bow our heads clean your chimney and hope for the best. we care about this place obviously more than you can imagine and i will fight tooth and nail to get this club back on the straight and narrow.

roll on saturday and 3 points.

Nicely said Mex...

...and if the Wills family think they are getting critism and shit now, trust me it'll be a million times worse if they let the club die. I cant see the fans standing for that somehow!!

Exactly. They owe it to us, the whole of Wiltshire AND THEMSELVES to pass this club on in a decent shape.

Otherwise their legacy will be killing the club. Not ours.

Well said Mex.

This is going to sound ungreatfull and idiotic, but part of me at this current time thinks if he pulls out so be it. Been here before, I know it means the likely end of STFC but I've had enough of all this. It's ment to be enjoyable. Maybe I need a trial speration from STFC after this season, or at least take it game-by-game.

Totaly agree with everything said mex. We need the fan base, they are pissing more and more of us off. It's going to get back to the days when hardly any fans  showed and the club was saying on radio that they need a gate of 6000 to break even. Every football club needs its fans, piss all the fans off NO CLUB. Dont take a brain surgeon to work that out so why are they slating the fans, we pay good money to watch our team. For what them to constantly slate us bitch at us and when we voice our opinions they put out official statements saying they will pull the plug. Fucking do it then obviously you lot dont have any passion to run a football club or it wouldn't be in this prediciment again. We always get knocked down (financial irregularities, hillier and co etc etc etc) but we get back up again.............
