I like it. I do it on FM2006 all the time.

Makes sense to have the attacking options on the bench for a home game, although not having a keeper on the bench is obviously always a gamble.

A number of teams have gone down the 5 outfield player road.  Doesn't Warnock swear by it? or am I thinking of another Manager.

Just think how often a sub keeper has ever been needed.....I suppose you base the risk on that %.

You're right about Warnock. But then he thinks a suit will help calm him down, so the less said about his methods the better methinks!

I think 5 outfield players is probably a good idea. It allows a lot more options and the chance of needing a sub keeper is probably something like 1 in 100!

I reckon on average you'll need a sub once a season. Or about 7 times if Bart Griemink's in goal.

I suppose there is a case for it - last night even - Brownlie was Smith's bench replacement!

remember when we played Pompey and Iffy took out Aaron Flahavan (poor bloke, RIP)...anyway, their midfielder Jeff Peron played a full half in goal and we didn't even have a shot on target. Hilarious looking back...
