Podolski has been hyped to the max over here, more than Ballack. He's currently at already relegated (bottom of the league) 1. FC Köln, what I've seen of him he looks good, but I think Germany are after a Rooney and are hyping their nearest equivalent.

Schweinsteiger reminds me of Brian Howard. Although he seems to run around a lot, doesn't look to have the end product (for an International).

Haven't really seen all that much Bundesliga since I've been here, not interested. Massive games in the 2. Bundesliga on Sunday. If results go the way I hope, Karlsruhe can get promoted and I can run on the pitch, in a foreign country, and pretend I know what's going on. Fingers crossed.

BVB beat the 'only' team in Franken the other week, bastards. It's all about Nürnberg. (and Karlsruher SC, even though I missed them win 7-0 on wedsnesday - since when do you play weekday games at 17:30? No wonder only 10,000 were there)
