Rhys- shit kicking, shit handling, lazy (and he's a keeper ffs), at fault for goal 2 and should marshall better- 3

Garrard- one of his better efforts, made some very good tackles but was shight going forward again- 5

Heywood- crap again, always out of position and panicky, marked poorly- 3

Ifil- some very good tackles, uncharacteristically poor marking, went forawrd well at times- 7 MOTM

Jenkins- did very well in the LB role where Smith, IMO, should have been, worked hard enough- 6

Igoe- wound their fans up, cheated all game, not one cross- 4

O'Hanlon- absolutely A grade toss passing/heading and lacked his usual effort, he's not a midfielder- 3

Smith- lucky goal, the best of our poor midfielders for me, selfish though- 6

Migs- none of his composure and looked slow and jaded, still looked for a pass rather than a hoof- 5

Holmes- again impressive running and unsettled them but I still don't think he can cross like King says he can- 6

Parkin- poor bloke, by himself receiving long balls- no rating because the team wouldn't let him play

Very pessimistic posty after, on the face, a respectable result. The performance was shight though, 5-0 would have been harsh on Brentford, not us!

Just about to write that myself Mr Santini.  Why play Smith at left back when he's midfielder, who gets forward quite a bit and cheaps in with the goals too.  Are you Kingy in disguise?

God alone knows what game you were watching if you thought Ifil was man of the match.

I think he won one clean header all match, missing the ball by yards several times.

He was caught in possession several times leading to any number of panics.

He consistently failed to find a Swindon player when in possession.

He was at fault for both goals.

For the first he lost his man, leaving Jenks with the choice of marking two men or choosing whichever one he thought most dangerous. Jenks got it wrong, leaving Burton all alone. But the error was Ifil's

For the second goal neither Garrard nor Ifil were anywhere near to the men they should have picking up. Irrespective of whether Burton was offside or not the pair of them were daydreaming.

Ifil is a good marker when that's all he has to do. When he's given a single task for the whole match, namely stick to "so and so" wherever he goes.

When he's asked to play a typical zonal marking game his positional play and concentration levels are atrocious.

My mate, who's a Watford supporter did say to us when he signed that he wasn't intelligent enough to play in the championship.  I know what he means.

Ifil's probably one of our worst players this season, ho hum.
