I still don't think we would get promotion even with him in the side but he would certainly improve our chances of winning the LDV which I am pinning all my hopes on this season.

Still seems a tad unlikely but if Derby do well this season with the current team then that may offer a glimmer of hope. If Derby are interested, and lets face it they are the only club not to have been linked with him in recent months, then maybe he could used as part of a Parkin deal if/when it happens in the summer. I'm in agreement with OST, his presence should help maintain a steady mid-table season and perhaps a LDV cup snatch. Title: Holmes to extend stay?!?
