Doesn't take 2 hours. I can do Bedford Swindon in about 1 hr 45 on a normal saturday and MK is 20 mins from me so should take the coach about 1 hr 25ish.

Yeah hour and a half should be about right, as long as the road works aren't on the north-bound side of the A34.

There shouldn't be, they will have filled up already and if people can't be expected to hold their bladder for an hour and a half then there's something wrong.
