Well that was weird. Our makeshift defence coped with everything, we played through midfield a lot and looked a regular threat up front. The MoM's probably wrapped up, but quite a few decent shifts there.

Grant

Grant easily for me, Twine, Iandolo and Payne all close though.

Hard to think of somebody who didn't play well.

All the back 3 (4) did well.

But Twine for the obvious reason

Had to be Grant today. He was awesome today. Don't think he put a foot wrong. Furthermore, he looked quick and mobile!

Iandolo was a revelation at LCB.

Mentions for Grant (one bad error in the lead up to their post hit), Twine, AK. Payne was brilliant first half.

For all the stick Sheridan has (rightly) got, he gets full credit for the changes he made today.

Conroy and Broadbent must be feeling like a right pair of cunts.

I reckon they are happy the team won and looking forward to competing for their places.

Grant and Iandolol are total football though.

Wasn't there talk that grant could play in goal. Think I'd trust him to do ok there.

Nahh, you're getting confused with the goalkeepers that used to pay together; Lee Camp and Lee Grant. We have Camp & Grant (x2) but the latter isn't of the Lee variety.

Interesting that after all the pre-match gloom, this game attracted more voters than the previous four. Perhaps lots of people watched the previous lame defeats and boycotted letting anyone have the heady consolation of a TEF MoM accolade.

I voted for Twine but glad Grant picked up the MoM award.

I don't usually vote for these without watching the game but voted Twine on this one for obvious reasons.

And thus appear to have swayed the whole thing away from the General. I hope you don't meet him down a dark alley any time soon.
