There's something about watching a game on my own in the kitchen that seems to make the noises I make quite a lot more like Dr. Zoidberg than usual. My wife was understandably concerned.

Wife was feeding our baby. I screamed, baby bit down. I got in trouble.

Worth it.

I shouted so loud my 2 year old girl started bawling her eyes out.

For the 2nd goal my 4 year old lad was sat on my lap, so I grabbed hold of him and jumped around the living room otherwise he'd have probably gone flying.
Oh, and he's learned the F word after I screamed "GET THE FUCK IN THERE!" which he repeated  :Ride On Fatbury's Lovestick: :doh:

I nearly fell off my loft ladder, I was sorting out an aerial connection and my football app signalled a goal. I feared the worst, then let out a whoop and punched the air.

Screamed from the kitchen, and heard my two boys upstairs do the same.  First time they've engaged like that with the Club since the Exeter game on Feb 1st.  (Even the promo happened in slo-mo, so didn't quite get the same response.)

I said to myself 'oh, Swindon have scored'

Laughing followed by a quiet, 'yes'.  Certainly a goal fit to win that game.

That's awfully underwhelming😂

Managed to keep the kids upstairs for the first half, second half my lad came down in his Swindon shirt (doesnt really care for football yet) and they both pissed around in front of the tv getting told off every other minute for being in the way.

Kids were scared shitless when we equalised and the mrs told me off, then when the winner went in they responded to me going mental and both joined in. Dog was barking so grabbed her face to calm her down which made her more concerned. Lad ended up on the floor in a heap but no injuries. Great moment.

As if. You were dancin around the Christmas tree, lametta through your hair as Rockin' Robin blared out on the Bush 574 Tape Recorder.

An absolutely brilliant result

I had to Google the tape recorder model.  Very similar to what I used to load games on to my ZX81.

We had one knocking around but wasn't 100 on the model number. Knew it was Bush but had the number 174, 374 and 574 in my head. Plumped for 574. Maybe they had previous models?

A guttural roar, jumping up, punching the air...the dog joining in (once he realised all was well - all was more than bloody well).  Still up there, great stuff.

You’re watching it and it’s slowly draining you . You don’t realise how much you actually give a shit until the ball rolls over the line.

It’s at that point that any reserve or poise you had watching the game simply vanishes.

A roar emits from your body. A roar that you have no chance of repeating on request. It’s almost unnatural however at the same time the most natural reaction in the world. The roar takes you back to the bottom tier of the shrivvy road stand and is locked up inside you. Stored somewhere deep inside for over 40 years and only occasionally pokes its head out. You can’t control it. It just happens. It maybe on ifollow and not in the flesh which makes the roar more surprising when it leaps out at aeroplane like decibels.

I personally made no audible sound - I found out about the goals via the vids on twitter and just sort of sat, opened mouthed in disbelief. No children or animals offended in my celebration.

My oldest was playing Tony Hawks on the Xbox next to me, I was watching on the PC, went mad when we equalised, jumping and shouting, my mrs was not impressed, my kid joined in jumping and watched the last few minutes. When the second went in, I just lost it, likewise my kid. Jumping, hugging, shouting, laughing, picked him up, just pure elation. Closest it's been to watching a goal live at the CG, just madness. Was in the doghouse for the rest of the evening, massive grin for hours after. Still making me smile now, watched the highlights earlier, just crazy. Fuck the Pox, that was great.

me and the eldest watched in near silence. the youngest I couldn't get interested at all. the Mrs dozing on the sofa.

and then... Broadbent... the 'mex' roar and bumping around, the Mrs just  jumping. they youngest came in and we calmed and watched all together.

the winner. my god the winner. the celebrations from us boys as loud as any in the ground. threw myself to the floor pounding it with my fists "yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees" and the bundle followed.

and so is consigned into the bank of great  celebrating that I can reflect on later in life if I don't go senile!

Appeared to take ages to cross the line and momentarily I checked the Referee to check if it had been given. Don’t think I have ever celebrated a goal like that not being at a game.
Can only imagine the scenes in that away end if we were actually there, absolute carnage :)

Totally froze for the first goal, second was a little more but about as reserved as I've ever been watching big goals scored, even on TV. I was then nervously pacing around the room until the final whistle.

Watching it with my 2 sons, we all totally erupted when the winner went in, jumping up and down and shouting for joy. The dog got startled and started barking and jumping around.

Soon after I heard some fireworks go off in the distance, and my eldest mentioned he still had some, as I wouldn't let him use them for fear of upsetting the dog.   So............shut the hound in the front room with the stereo at full blast, and let off a rocket and air bomb !

Had to be done !
