Acknowledgement of your shirt sponsorships on the Clubs official website – Logo on the first team player profile pages
Players previewed each month throughout the season – Profiling each sponsor with a tag to each sponsor.

We are also currently investigating the possibility to profile your name, or business on all goal and substitution Gifs used on twitter account that has over 76,000 followers.  We will keep you posted on this, as Will in our media team is managing this.

Thank you for taking on board so much information, and please can you confirm if you will be continuing with a sponsorship and kindly confirm if you will be opting for home, away or both?  As in past seasons we are offering all the sponsors from last season a priority window to confirm their selected player.  Sponsorship will be awarded on a first come first served basis.  Please kindly confirm your player and the sponsorship by close of play this Friday (25th), as following this we will launch the sponsorship details across Club channels from Monday 28th September for the sponsorship of all remaining players.  List of squad numbers and players below: -

Even though it's not exactly clear from the email - the cost is £450 per player either home or away (assume it is £900 if you want both home and away.

If we want the choice we need to get our name back by the end of day on the 25th (tomorrow).

Vote away on who the townend should sponsor(assuming that we have enough interest to generate £450 minimum..  Start posting your contributions below (min £10 but ideally we need plenty of £20 contributions to get us to the total as quickly as possible)

In terms of who to sponsor going to have to think about this as needs to be a player I like but one who it doesn't matter if they lose all their form or get a season ending injury in the first few weeks.

On that basis, I'm kind of tempted to vote for one of the Academy lads, also shows a bit of support for "one of our own", but it just seems a bit mean to blight their career like that

No. I just got an update from the club and sponsors who sponsored players last year that are still at the club get first refusal, but they have until the end of today to confirm if they want to sponsor the same players this year.

I have made Adam aware that DJ is currently winning the vote and he is going to let me know if he gets confirmation if last years sponsor is not repeating this year.  Looks like we should know more on Monday as there will obviously be a bigger pot of players depending on sponsors signing back up or not.

I might have to set up another poll or see if I can reset and edit this one based on the info i get.

OK, this is a great idea, I am happy to manage alongside the mens sponsorship.  Where we stand is we have £570 pledged including the addition of Nemo's tenner.

That's will give us £20 spare which I recommend we use to buy a couple of bits and bobs from the shop and do a mini prize draw for participants (won't be spectacular but at least the club will get more £).  This also means that if anyone else still wants to contribute then they can do - the more money the better/more prizes.

I have paid for DJ.  We have £530 in the pot, but I am still missing whether either Quagmire or Bert Heads Head has paid, as I am £20 over what has been confirmed on here.

For those waiting for last years shirts, the club still have all of the shirts on a rail, they are just waiting to find the time to get the players to sign them, they are still on catch up after furlough.  So, as Broadbent is still with the club we will have to be patient untll they can get that done.  They will contact me as soon as they are available.

I have paid the Sponsorship for Annie Martin so we are all up to date.  We do get 2 season tickets for the Women's matches so let me know know if anyone who has contributed wants to attend and I can put names on the gate etc.  As long as no more than 2 people turn up from TheTownend for each match we are good.

We have collected £550 in total.  Another £20 outstanding from a contributer that has contacted me, so all good there.

Also £40 still outstanding from Quagmire and Bert Heads Head, but I think they might have me on ignore because they are not responding.  If they have not responded by the time the last payment comes in then I will take them off of the list.

Thanks for everyone that has contributed and paid up, as usual great work from everyone.  This season anyone can continue to contribute during the season, the more money collected the more we will have to play with to do some sort of prize draw with the leftover cash.

No update on last season or this season's deal.  I think everyone at the club is keeping their heads down until the basket case is in better order.

Most probably yes, hence why I am leaving it to them to contact me rather than chase them on anything.  I think we just have to leave them to it until this shit show is over/progressed.

It is the championship winning season shirt, however if you have a body shape larger than a 13 year old boy then I think you will struggle to get it on - put it this way, I don't think they have sent the size of shirt that Tom actually wore.

Good news for everybody else that contributed this year, I also have the cursed edition of DJ's shirt from this season.  I will reach out to a random poster that didn't contribute to pick a number of the winner.  I will hold back sending Red Frogs shirt just in case lightening strikes twice.

Years ago they did give the actual playing shirts to the sponsors, I remember writing to the sponsors listed in the programme at the end of each season to see if they wanted to sell me the shirts for my collection. Over the last few years I'm not sure though if it is the match shirts, one year one of the sponsors got a Scott Twine shirt in XL, for example.

I know for a fact it isn't a match shirt.  At the start of the season they get them printed up in the club shop when sponsorship is sold and hold them to be signed at some point when the player is passing through, it's as basic as that.  The size of the shirt is usually based on what size shirt they have more stock of, once the initial rush (not this season) of preseason orders has been dealt with.  I doubt the players hardly even touched these shirts let alone wore them..

I just took another look at the sizes as I was packing up and the Broadbent shirt is actually a Large, so depending on your size Red Frog you might get it on, bearing in mind it is a Puma Large.

Nasty little recent plastic project with right-wing tendencies. My English chums and I go to the proper old school tin sheds at Red Star in the northern suburbs, which generates a brilliant atmosphere and big for L3 (3k+) crowds of young urban lefties. They're threatening to renovate the stadium, which will change the atmosphere but may bring bigger support.

The kids aren't interested in that either. In footballing terms, they've been a disappointment to me. As I to them.
