Aud - Do the Greeks do anything with recycling at all? In Turkey they basically seem to put everything straight into the bin and wondered if the Greeks are any more eco concious?

All your general crap goes in a roadside green bin. In the blue bin goes mixed glass and plastic.

You can leave anything beside the bins - mattresses, old TVs, fridges, chopped down foliage and they will take it away. It’s like having a series of mini Barnfields every 200m or so.

Then they stuff the lot in one big hole.

Apparently, Macguire thumped a Greek policeman. Not recommended. Lucky he didnt get shot!
