I predict Charlton at home so we have them twice in a week

Reminds me of when we played QPR in the mid 90's and Stuart Houston had just taken over. His first three games in charge were all against us. Two in the LC and one in the League.

Actually, also around that time (couple of years before perhaps) I remember us playing Charlton in the LC. We lost the first leg 1-3 at home but won the away leg 4-1 for one of our more remarkable come backs in modern times. Haven't looked it up but I know JAF was among the goals.

Had a good away day at Hull first game of the season - at their old shit heap of a ground, Boothferry Park.

1-0 win with a Swindon debut for Shay Given!

I was at that one, very enjoyable. I remember being shocked at Hull having a really nice Marina/water front area...

As many of the big games late in the season would be grand. Other than the derbies, looking out for Charlton, Ipswich, Pompey and Sunderland. Excited to tick off a couple of new grounds too,

Feels a bit academic with only the home fixtures holding any practical interest (at this stage) apart from some wistful lingering over the away schedule.
Nevertheless, must stay positive. Fixture release day is always a good day.

Hopefully a case of being able to go for a Burton a bit later in the season.
Will combine beer and marmite aplenty if that happens.

The run in as always is very crucial to the whole season, however, the last 8 look tough if those early fancied clubs are still runners and riders.

The pox should be in a relegation battle by the time March comes  >:D

Question. Although the fixtures are out now for general consumption, do the clubs get them a few days early to sort out Hotels and other arrangements like policing?

Most of the games I'd be keen to get to are December onwards so that's as good as I could have hoped for really. Shame there are so many long treks on Tuesday nights though, especially Sunderland.

Only fixtures I looked for were Oxford.

Can we at least try not to embarrass ourselves. I’d even take just a bloody draw.

Yeah, would rather have had the Sunderland home and away the other way around as well. Away to them in October when fans will be limited if allowed in at all, so partly negating the advantage of their large home following, then back to us in March when hopefully the restrictions will have been eased a bit and we can benefit from the larger gate. (I'm making a *lot* of assumptions here clearly)

Gutted Sunderland and Pompey are not on normal Saturdays. Won't get to either this year, realistically.

Only bright spot is that run in January - Ipswich and Charlton back-to-back away days.

Run-in looks tough. Relatively weak start though.

Last season it was £6 a game, I think. I had an iFollow ST for all games, home and away, and that cost €130. The renewal has gone up approx 10%.

Thanks for that Audrey. I have a season ticket and don't know if that will be recognised in any way towards games I can't watch.

I'd rather assumed that until crowds are allowed back in properly, ST holders would get iFollow free. Taking the piss otherwise.
