They need to make a decision soon

tbf, it's not so much the League making a decision as Charlton managing to find someone who actually passes the Owners and Directors Test (Fit and Proper in new money) to take over the club. Given it was previously thought to be nigh on impossible to fail it, Charlton seem to be making incredibly hard work of doing so.

This is from yesterday. It all appears to be a bloody mess.

Sorry, this stuff about Charlton should probably be in the "It could actually be worse" thread. My fault.

You have to feel sorry for the our League Cup opponents Charlton.

And yet they're still paying transfer fees and signing players on £5k a week (apparently).

It's worth remembering that when we were in deep financial shit at the turn of the millenium, Charlton fans had a whip round for us to raise money to send the youth team over to Norn Ireland, for that prestigious Milk Cup tourney.

Southampton done me out of a fucking near £1.2k off a free £10 bet. Didn't even need them to win. Just a goal. There is always one! But not my money so no biggy. Would've been 'ansom though   :crash:
