If you're referring to my post, because at the time there weren't many photos had been released (because SkyBet apparently broke the 5pm embargo after which photos were supposed to be released) so this was the only one I'd seen that clearly had Doyle in it and Audrey was asking if he was there. No other subtext, no need to get triggered.

Actually the only "criticism" of the image is the minor oversight the photographer made. For that shot all players in the frame should be kneeling on the same knee. Would have more symmetry and be a better composition as they are all raising the same hand (except the guy far right (hmm), at the back). Just looks a little untidy. Wider shots, not so much a problem.

Having said that, getting 16+ footballers to follow direction is probably much easier to be a little more relaxed, after all you want them for it to not feel like a shoot and to just enjoy the moment; they're definitely doing that.

Not so much a misunderstood term. It is an adapted term and everyone (unless under somewhere monolithic) understands why it has and the usage of BAME. Like all language and acronyms, they are ever evolving. What one meant some time ago and it's context can be expressed entirely different today. See my post (as it happens) regarding the word "Negro". A word such as gay, meaning and use is much different to the original use.

There will always be categorisation, look at your passport? For as long as people look different, practice another faith, are a different gender and so on it will exist. Surely you want to know you exist? By design we categorise ourselves, even if that is merely as a human or inhabitant of earth. You still separate yourself from other species or identifying a planet you are on.

I've always found the categorisation argument a little moot because we all do it. For ourselves. People want to be BAME and proud. The issue isn't about people from that (or any) background wanting to move on and celebrate their own heritage as equally as anyone else, it is that some people do not want them to be able to  :)

The BLM “group” is very political, I don’t think they’ve ever suggested they are not.  The Moniker has been taken in recent weeks and used for a wider more general push to overcome racism, hopefully they will gain political results.

What exactly are BLM in the UK actually looking to change? As far as I am aware the laws in the UK are the same for everyone,  there are equality laws in place too. Perhaps it's the attitude of prejudiced individuals they want to change? I can understand the want to remove the slave trade statues and the like, but apart from that and attitudes of some what else are they striving to change? Genuine question as I haven't heard or read it anywhere.

Firstly for the 10,00000,00000 time on here BLM is not a group with an overarching objective either in the UK or USA, its a disparate banner to cover a wide range of interested parties and individuals, thus any message put out via social media accounts should be given as much weight as nonsense posted on here, nothing to stop me going on Twitter now and setting up a BLMUK account and posting whatever shit I like, much as there is evidence in the UK of far right groups doing just that to tey and discredit the cause.

On a more personal level whilst supporting their aims, the whole BLM movement has served a much more useful purpose in smoking out the closet racists on social media, one former friend has now flounced off Facebook (probably in favour of parler) after being called out by various people.
