I put Milner right wing as that’s where I saw him play for us at the withdean Title: Re: Best STFC team/squad you've watched Post by: DiV on Sunday, March 22, 2020, 15:12:56 DV I think both our teams are fucking huge! I put Milner right wing as that’s where I saw him play for us at the withdean I’m pretty certain we were still playing 3-5-2 at that point and Milner was playing RWB. I want to say Turbo started the season there but broke his leg? He’s played full back for Liverpool very successfully. Added to the fact I couldn’t really think of a better right back. Some creative license but Title: Re: Best STFC team/squad you've watched Post by: Flashheart on Sunday, March 22, 2020, 15:22:04 Digby

Title: Re: Best STFC team/squad you've watched Post by: Bedford Red on Sunday, March 22, 2020, 16:18:27 My team wouldn't necessarily play the best together, but i'm doing this on my best 11 as below based on players i've seen
Best goalkeeper Digby Best defenders Colin Calderwood Shaun Taylor Paul Bodin David Kerslake Best midfielders Steve Foley Alan Mcloughlin Micky Hazard Glenn Hoddle Best forwards Duncan Shearer Steve White Subs Foderingham, Austin, Ritchie, Jones, Kamara, McHale, Culverhouse Manager Ardiles I only saw Don Rogers play once (in 1976) so can't include him based on that, and my main 11 is from the 80's/90's as i went a lot more then than i do now. A small, weak winger with a habit of drifting in and out of games and dubious end product. He'd be absolutely useless in every position apart from on the wings and maybe a second striker. Would get smashed by a team of David Dukes. The original "we all dream of a team of Gary Breens" was far more apt as he played in almost every position for Coventry including stand in goalkeeper back in the late 90s.I can't begin to imagine Macnamee even standing in a goal without looking like an u13 leagues goalkeeper.
