I'm not sure if this is the right thread for this, but I'll put it in here anyway. I am in the process of writing up my university dissertation at UWE Bristol and doing it on "ARE FOOTBALL CLUBS ARE PERCEIVED AS ‘BRANDS/BUSINESSES’ AND HOW THEIR FANS ARE CAPTIVE CUSTOMERS AND ARE THEY PSYCHOLOGICALLY EXPLOITED?" and comparing Swindon Town FC to Liverpool FC. I have created a short questionnaire that will take no longer than a couple of minutes to complete. If the kind members of the Town End forum could spare a couple of minutes of their time to help me and my research out - that would be really grateful. you might have asked 'Do you have other involvement with the club, other than attending matches?' (e.g. Member of Supporters' Club, involved with STFC Community Foundation, STFC Trust etc etc) Just gives an idea of the commitment of supporters to the club, with extra involvement suggesting that it is more than a commercial enterprise. Smiled about the value for money question IMO you never know how you'll feel. Righteous anger or Hyper exhilarated. It varies every time. Pleased I'm not having to injure my neck watching Flitball anymore and loving the atmosphere at present.
