Title: Kindle reader update Post by: mystical_goat on Thursday, July 25, 2019, 13:00:01 I have an old Kindle (model D01100) running V4.1.1 of their software. Apparently I've missed some deadline where users needed to update the software, and now it can't sync to my account or allow me to read anything apart from what I already had on there.

I know at some point I need to plug the Kindle via USB into the computer, do I just drag the downloaded .bin file over and that's it? I've tried downloading the file on a Mac and PC and couldn't get anywhere.
