Contacted by the club early this year, If you are planning on contributing please vote on the player you think we should sponsor (n.b. not all players will be available as last years sponsors have first refusal (as do we with Tom) and it is on a first come basis) I have to let them know by Wednesday - Price has increased, but more prizes available.  Also, start to let me know in the thread if you want to join in.  Minimum £10 contribution, the more you contribute, the better chance you have of winning prizes.

I trust this e-mail finds you well and you are enjoying the sunshine.

In relation to ‘Player Sponsorship’ we have been waiting until a number of new signings were announced before sending you a list, we now have the pleasure in listing the players within the squad below – we naturally hope to see more new faces arrive.  A section of the players sponsored last season along with their sponsors have been listed.  Those players that are not list have already been confirmed by their sponsors from last season following a renewal of their branding and partnership packages with us.  As in previous seasons we will give you the sponsor the first opportunity to sponsor your current player once again for season 2019/20.  Please confirm your intentions as soon as it is convenient, we ask that you kindly let us know by 5pm on Wednesday 3rd July.

 

We have also listed all the players that are available to sponsor now.  All sponsors who sponsored a player/s last season (with those players having moved on), will also be given the opportunity to select and sponsor a new player before we market out to our wider database.  All sponsorship requests will be dealt with on a first come first served basis and once again can we ask that you confirm your selected player/s by 5pm on Wednesday 3rd July.  You can of course wait for further new players to arrive?

I have also listed the revised sponsorship package for you, the cost has increased to £575 INC VAT per player.  However, you will note as part of the package we have included two hospitality places in our very popular Imagine Cruising Suite, which includes a 3-course meal as one of the many benefits.  To note, we will only be presenting the players home shirt at the Sponsors Dinner; the away shirt has been removed from the package.

OK, so we have Broadbent, we now need to focus on getting the necessary funds.  Based on this thread so far we have a little over £300, so we are half way there already.

Target is £575 so I am going to keep on posting reminders over the coming days until we reach the target to make sure that this thread is kept visible.

Well you can tell we are having a good season because nobody (Tans) has bugged me about doing the draw.  I am going to get this done because we are running out of home games for some of the prizes to be used, although we don't know the details of the player sponsorship night yet so I will update this thread on those details once I get it.

Prizes are:
1st - A signed home shirt presented to one of our winners of the Player Sponsorship night tickets and to be handed over to the winner
2nd - Two complimentary passes to Sky Bet League Two home fixture in the Imagine Cruising Suite – Full hospitality
3rd - Two tickets to the Player Sponsorship Dinner
4th - Two tickets to the Player Sponsorship Dinner

I will start to prepare this now and ask regular posters who have not taken part to pull a number out of virtual hat and that number will correspond to the winner of the prize.  I have found that this is the fairest way to do this in the past and ensures that I don't get accused of favouritism or more likely as a fuck you to some of you tossers on here :D  The order of the responses from the posters that I ask to pick a number will determine the prize winners 1st to 5th - so totally random and out of my control.

Just in case anyone wonders, I always take my name out of the hat as a potential prize winner.

I am emailing to formally invite you to our Sponsors Dinner for the 2019-20 season on Tuesday 3rd March. Doors open at 7pm for a prompt 7.30pm start. The evening will be hosted in the Legends Lounge located inside the Arkells Stand.

We will be welcoming back host Shaun Hodgetts, with a guest appearance from Richard Pullen from The Loathed Strangers Podcast who will be delivering a unique supporter review/season to date and Q&A session!

As per your sponsorship of your chosen player, you have four complimentary tickets to this dinner. Should you want to add on any additional spaces, you will be entitled to the discounted rate of £30pp inc VAT. Please do let us know in your response if you would like to add on any guests. 

There will be a cash/ spot prize raffle on the night so please do bring cash with you. We will also be having an auction as part of proceedings so please do get in touch with myself or Adam if you have a prize that you would like to contribute. Once again, this auction will be in aid of the Wiltshire Air Ambulance so money raised will go a long way towards helping us reach our fundraising target for the season.

Dear all,

I am sure you have seen that due to the ongoing situation regarding the COVID-19 virus, all EFL fixtures have been suspended until 3rd April. In line with this, the EFL have advised Clubs to suspend indefinitely all non-essential activities which include player appearances and fan meetings. As a result of these changes, we have had to once again postpone the Sponsors Dinner until further notice.

We have been extremely unfortunate with the Sponsors Dinner already this season with prior postponements already as a result of fixture changes in the league. While the decision is obviously disappointing, the health and wellbeing of our staff, players and fans is paramount.
