Title: Dual monitors
Post by: Flashheart on Monday, March 25, 2019, 12:54:51
I got a 2nd monitor today - Yay
I can't get it to work as I wanted to - Boo

I can scroll my mouse over to the 2nd monitor OK, but whatever I click on opens/closes something in the 1st monitor. I really want the 2nd screen as a 2nd workspace. For example, I want to have word open in one screen and a browser open in the other. I just can't seem to make it work.

There is every chance that I am just being a bit dim.

It all depends on which operating system you are running, my dual screen is on win 7. I open something on the 1st screen drag it across to the second screen then when I open it next it automatically opens onto the last screen it was open on. The only issue I have with that is on Excel, when I open the 1st copy of excel it always opens on the 1st screen but when I open the second copy of excel it always opens on the second screen.

I was right... I was being dumb. All I had to do was drag it, I should have thought of that myself.

Job done, thanks
